My autobiography - Who am I?

 Who am I?

My name is Francisca Espinoza. I was born on may twenty-seven, two thousand and two so i ´ m nineteen years old. I ´ m live in Santiago with my mom, my grandmother and my cat, his name is Teodoro Ozuna and he is three years old. He is a energetic and unloving cat, but i love so much.

I ´ m studying anthropology at the university of Chile, before studying at the university my high school was the Liceo Carmela Carvajal on providencia.

My hobbie is playing guitar, i learned two years ago watching youtube videos. I ´ m still not very good at playing guitar but i try to practice a little bit every day. My favorite music is british rock i love The Smith, but i also like trova, from this genre my favorite artist is Victor Jara. I don´t like watch movies or series, because i get easily distracted, however i am a big fan of Harry Potter, is one of the few movies with which i can stay turned.

  1. I found the story of her life very interesting, especially because of how funny her cat's name is and because she is a fan of the Harry Potter saga. I thought her work was good because of how concise it was and because it showed in broad strokes the story of her life.

  2. Some corrections: I was born in May (capital letter is must) twenty seventh, two thousand and two; I live, not I'm live; in Providencia

How Can Your Major Make the World a Better

I am studying anthropology, I think one of the reasons why I chose this career is because since I discovered its existence I thought it was the way in which I could make a contribution to society. I consider that motivation and vocation are the most important things to be able to make a contribution with the work I will do in the future, and I hope that anthropology will allow me to do so. I believe that anthropology in essence allows us to expand our way of seeing the world, allows us to put ourselves in the place of the other, and indeed to be more empathetic with others. It is from empathy, I believe, that changes can be initiated; it is vital to understand the ways in which others live in order to be able to help them effectively. In the case of archaeology, I really like the idea of being able to reconstruct the past, and give voice to many events, people, groups that have been ignored until now. In short, anthropology provides multiple tools to understand others in a resp...

A Photo and its Story

This photo is from October 15, 2018 day in which I adopted my kitten. The arrival of my cat was like a great coincidence, because 1 days before with my family we had been talking about the possibility of rescuing an animal to live with us, and after analyzing it and realizing that if we can take good care of an animal, we decided to do it calmly. Coincidentally, a friend's mom called us saying that she had found a kitten dumped at the market, and that she needed to give them up for adoption urgently because they were in very bad health. So, I went out quickly with my cousin and when we arrived luckily, we still found two kittens, unfortunately the others kitties had died. That's how I found my cat. A vet had told us that it was a female, so for the first three weeks my cat was called Quimera Natti Natasha, until we found out in a check up that it was a male and his name was changed to Teodoro Ozuna. This picture brings me very nice memories, it was definitely a very goo...

Post 4: Time travel to the past

Being able to travel back in time sounds like something that would happen in a movie or a science fiction book, so I guess I've never really stopped to think seriously about it. However, I think I would prefer to travel back in time for now. It is really interesting to me the idea of traveling far into the past and being able to see live the historical events that I have read about in history books. To be part of the first ships and ocean voyages, to see the French revolution or the independence of Chile. However, I think what I would be most interested in seeing in my trip to the past would be those events that are not documented in history, I would like to see how the first humans lived in Latin America before the arrival of the Europeans, to see the fauna and flora, how the landscapes have changed. It is a very nice idea to be able to live an experience like this, to be part of historical events that are not very famous in order to understand them better, and in this way under...
