  Astronomy is one of my favorite subjects to study, this is a science that studies the celestial bodies of the universe such as planets, satellites, comets and asteroids. It is also interested in interstellar matter such as stars, nebulae, galaxies and dark matter. Perhaps one of the most interesting topics studied is related to extraterrestrial life. In short, astronomy is the science of the physical universe at the macro level that studies the events that occur in it. Since I was very young, I had always liked mathematics and when I entered high school, they started to teach us Physics. From the first moment I was fascinated with the physical explanations about how the world worked, but unfortunately at school we never got to pass subjects related to astronomy. So, in the summers, due to my enchantment with physics, I started to research and learn a lot about astronomy, until in the summer of 2017 I took a "Planetary Sciences" course.   I think that the website of the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art is a site that I really like. While it is not a site focused on the whole of anthropology it does have information and resources related to the discipline, which are mainly focused on the pre-Columbian peoples of the Americas. On this site you can find information about the museum and the exhibitions available. But they also have educational material for multiple ages, a library with texts in pdf that anyone can access, as well as good information on pre-Columbian peoples, which is organized in a way that makes it easy to access, with images, maps, and videos. Although I don't visit it as much now as I did when I finished high school, I usually keep an eye on the exhibitions through social networks and if I have time I try to go.   I am studying anthropology, I think one of the reasons why I chose this career is because since I discovered its existence I thought it was the way in which I could make a contribution to society. I consider that motivation and vocation are the most important things to be able to make a contribution with the work I will do in the future, and I hope that anthropology will allow me to do so. I believe that anthropology in essence allows us to expand our way of seeing the world, allows us to put ourselves in the place of the other, and indeed to be more empathetic with others. It is from empathy, I believe, that changes can be initiated; it is vital to understand the ways in which others live in order to be able to help them effectively. In the case of archaeology, I really like the idea of being able to reconstruct the past, and give voice to many events, people, groups that have been ignored until now.   This photo is from October 15, 2018 day in which I adopted my kitten. The arrival of my cat was like a great coincidence, because 1 days before with my family we had been talking about the possibility of rescuing an animal to live with us, and after analyzing it and realizing that if we can take good care of an animal, we decided to do it calmly. Coincidentally, a friend's mom called us saying that she had found a kitten dumped at the market, and that she needed to give them up for adoption urgently because they were in very bad health. So, I went out quickly with my cousin and when we arrived luckily, we still found two kittens, unfortunately the others kitties had died. That's how I found my cat. A vet had told us that it was a female, so for the first three weeks my cat was called Quimera Natti Natasha, until we found out in a check up that it was a male and his name was changed to Teodoro Ozuna.
